For service operators
Join the association householders trust
NIACS membership puts your chimney sweeping business in front of homeowners across Northern Ireland — with unmatched training anywhere in the UK or Ireland, registration and accreditation that signals you are insured, vetted, and accountable to a shared code of conduct.
Membership
Built for working sweeps
Every application for membership is put to a vote within our membership. If there are no valid concerns for your acceptance, you will be offered full training. Without this, you will not be a member of our association. We don’t recognise workshops and seminars as sufficient training to work in the homes of the public under our umbrella. You will be thoroughly vetted, equipment levels inspected and insurance documents checked before a membership is accepted, so customers know they can trust our members.
- Public directory & map listing
- NIACS member seal for your brand
- Direct customer contact — no fees from householders
Why join
Practical advantages for operators
Membership is aimed at chimney sweeps and related specialists who want to be found by the right customers, and stand behind the work they do in people’s homes. Registration with one of the longest established bodies in the chimney industry caries kudos, but is not something handed out. You will need to invest in your business with training and equipment.
Be where householders look
Your profile sits in the public NIACS directory — searchable by area, service, and postcode, with a map pin so local customers can find you first.
Carry the NIACS seal
Membership gives you an accreditation mark householders recognise. Use it on your van, invoices, and website as a clear signal you meet association standards.
Stand behind shared standards
Insurance and a code of conduct are not red tape — they are how serious sweeps separate themselves from unverified listings, one-off advertisers and workshop attendees claiming to be “fully trained”
A profile that works for you
For many members, their NIACS page is their main professional web presence: services, coverage, photos, and direct contact — no booking middleman.
